The Electrode in the Gym was a bit weird. I felt like starting the player off with one Pokémon and then giving the trainers on the first route multiple Pokemon was a bit much, as a player I'd prefer to be eased into the route a bit. I'm not sure why the player gets a Pokegear, especially since the region map isn't implemented. Some games suffer from an overabundance of exposition during the start of the game, but I feel like this one could use a little bit more. It's one I'm excited to see you and the rest of your team make more of, and that's coming from someone who isn't usually into games where the protagonist speaks, or you play as a Pokémon.
